Simplified
Accounting
Visual
Basic
programming
has been
incorporated
into this
new
accounting
program
which will
give the
user more
of a
"Windows"
feel rather
than
working in
an Excel
spreadsheet.
The
program's
main
features
are going
to be the
simplicity
of the
software
along with
its
perpetual
inventory
system.
Below
is a
screenshot
of the Main
Menu.
As you can
see, the
program has
been
simplified
into the 3
major
components
of
accounting:
income,
expenses,
and
inventory.

Zoom
Simplified
Accounting
incorporates
income from
services as
well as
merchandise
sales.
The program
will work
for any
small
merchandising
or service
oriented
business.
Sales
All
sales can
be
organized
by source
(where they
originated,
such as
eBay
auctions,
eBay Store,
your own
Website,
Flea
Market,
etc.)
Sales can
also be
categorized
by
departments,
such as
books,
antiques,
toys,
etc.
The user
will setup
their own
categories
to fit
their
business.
The new
program
includes a
perpetual
inventory
system
which will
keep track
of
inventory
on
hand.
When
recording a
merchandise
sale, the
user simply
selects the
item from
their
inventory
that is
being
sold.
The program
will
automatically
adjust the
inventory
and post
the cost of
the item
sold.
In
the example
above, no
data is
entered
into the
Item Cost
box because
the item
sold was
selected
from
existing
inventory
where the
cost was
previously
entered.
The
user has
the option
to NOT
inventory
their
merchandise.
In this
case the
user simply
enters what
sold (does
not select
from the
drop down
box) and
enters the
cost of the
item in the
Item Cost
box. Zoom
is very
flexible in
how the
user wants
to handle
their
inventory.
Sales
Invoice
The
user will
have the
option to
print a
sales
invoice for
each
sale.
The screen
shot for
this
feature is
not yet
available.
Expenses
Expenses
are easily
recorded
using a
drop down
box to
select the
expense
account.
The user
can create
an
unlimited
number of
expense
accounts to
meet their
business
needs.
Profit
Loss Report
The
Profit /
Loss report
gives the
user easy
to read
information
regarding
the profit
of the
business.
You may
choose to
review
reports for
any
particular
month or
you may
view the
yearly
total
report.
Graphs will
be
available
for sales,
expenses,
and profit.
Other
Reports
Many
other
reports
will
available
such as
Inventory
Balances,
Inventory
Purchases,
Sales
Reports,
Expense
Reports,
Customer
Database,
and
more.
Screen

not yet
available
for these
reports.
